HybrideWhat you will do
The Senior Financial Analyst, Marketing Finance is responsible for identifying growth opportunities and the day-to-day finance operations, delivering timely analysis on investment proposals, preparing business cases, recommendations and action plans. You will review monthly closing and provide reporting in a timely and accurate manner, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting:
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify growth opportunities, influence business partners and drive effective decision making.
- Provide financial leadership to respective squads by delivering timely analysis for investment proposals and plans, prepare business cases, provide recommendations and action plans.
- Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in the Marketing and Finance teams.
- Partner with Marketing team to analyze P&L and investment effectiveness. Evaluate ROI on Media & Trade Investments and provide recommendations to optimize spending across P&L Lines.
- Support the monthly DSR and annual budgeting processes (3YOP and FBP) for respective brand portfolios or channels.
- Deep dive into monthly results, bridging actuals vs. budget/forecast by analyzing volume, price, mix (product/channel), and cost drivers
- Build P&L models for New Product Innovation (NPI), assessing gross margin feasibility, launch costs, and cannibalization risks.
- Regularly review the POM to identify low-margin or low-velocity SKUs and recommend rationalization or optimization strategies.
- Automate routine reporting processes using BI tools to free up time for value-added analysis.
- Be an active member of the Finance team and work closely alongside other team members to ensure accurate and robust P&L
- Lead and maintain a strong compliance environment and mindset
What we are looking for:
Education & Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration is required
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting and/or Finance role.
- Communication: Effective communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with Finance ERP systems (preferably SAP) and Business Intelligence Tools (e.g. Tableau)
Knowledge & Technical Competency Requirements
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
- Strong P&L and trade acumen with the ability to influence senior business partners within a CPG environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional planning and organizing abilities
- Big Picture orientation with the ability to zoom in and out as needed
- Proven ability to build relationships and credibility with cross-functional partners
- Self-motivated, independent, and proactive mindset
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across the organization
What’s in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:$72,000.00 - $116,150.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
