Ce que tu vas faire

The Senior Manager Indirect Tax LATAM is responsible for leading indirect tax compliance and strategy across the Latin America region. You will oversee Indirect tax planning, compliance, manage risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory adherence and optimize tax efficiency:

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee indirect tax planning and compliance for LATAM operations, including VAT/GST and other local indirect taxes.

  • Provide technical guidance on complex transactions, new business models, cross-border flows, and supply chain changes.

  • Design and implement cutting-edge indirect tax strategies leveraging data analytics to optimize tax efficiency across Latam markets.

  • Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to identify and mitigate indirect tax risks and enhance compliance through technology-driven solutions.

  • Develop dynamic forecasting models to predict indirect tax impacts on business operations for proactive financial planning.

  • Champion the integration of AI and machine learning tools to automate indirect tax reporting and compliance processes.

  • Collaborate with regional teams to create tailored tax frameworks aligned with evolving regulatory landscapes and business growth objectives.

  • Act as primary contact for the LATAM senior leadership team.

  • Drive standardization, automation and process improvements in indirect tax compliance and reporting.

  • Lead, coach and develop regional and local indirect tax members.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Law or related field is required

  • Relevant and solid previous experience in Indirect Tax, with significant LATAM regional exposure is required

  • Strong proficiency in fundamental Indirect tax compliance and regulatory knowledge is required

  • Excellent communication skills to articulate complex tax concepts to diverse stakeholders is required

  • Previous experience leading cross-cultural teams directly is required

  • Fluency in English is required

  • Advanced Spanish is highly desired

  • Passion for leveraging technology to transform tax functions

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively in designing tax solutions that drive business value and regulatory compliance

  • Strong proficiency in advanced data analytics

  • Familiarity with AI-driven indirect tax compliance platforms

  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of inspiring innovation in a fast-paced environment

  • Availability to work in a hybrid model between São Paulo and São José dos Campos
