What You Will Do

As a member of our Global Tax team, you will have exclusive access to a network of financial professionals worldwide. This network will help you build on your current skills and explore opportunities to grow your career at Kenvue.

Working closely with the Tax teams globally, this role will manage and own the end-to-end Global Indirect tax compliance matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing & coaching a team of Senior & Junior direct/indirect tax analysts.
  • Accountable for the end-to-end VAT compliance processes globally in cooperation with our external service providers and the indirect tax team.
  • Keep oversight on direct tax compliance process in cooperation with the Snr Director Tax Accounting.
  • Responsible for all reconciliations of VAT & tax balances globally including all other types reconciliations.
  • Oversee VAT registration, de-registration, and ongoing compliance in multiple countries.
  • Ensure adherence to local indirect tax laws and regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all VAT compliance queries from internal teams and tax authorities worldwide.
  • Coordinate with external service providers and tax advisors to ensure smooth VAT reporting and audit readiness.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standardized global VAT processes and controls (including SOP’s).
  • Contribute to the Indirect tax control framework where needed.
  • Monitor VAT regulatory changes globally and assess their impact on the business.
  • Support indirect tax audits, data requests, and inquiries from local tax authorities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, IT, and Supply Chain to ensure proper VAT treatment of transactions.
  • Lead or support VAT technology initiatives, including ERP and tax engine implementations or enhancements.
  • Support the vision, strategy, and delivery of the Tax processes for Kenvue globally. Ensure alignment with global standards and best practices.
  • Setup a data analytics tool in cooperation with the Indirect Tax Director.
  • Other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Global Indirect Tax Director.
     

Travel

  • Up to 10% international travel
     

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master level degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • A minimum of 8-12 year experience finance and accounting. Experience with Indirect tax preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools and have an intermediate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required.
  • Experienced in managing a team.
  • Strong knowledge of EU and/or global VAT & direct tax principles.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, other language skills desirable
  • Prior experience and strong knowledge of SAP is required
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and transactional data.
  • Critical thinking, attention for detail and discipline
     

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working & managing the external co-source providers
  • Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation
  • Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
  • Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments in Americas / EMEA / APAC
  • Lead/Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned
  • Desire to pursue CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications
