What will you do  

Process Engineers are critical role to the transformation of our factories through driving improvements and eliminating losses from a technical perspective. The Process Engineer role is a key contributor to stabilizing the reliability of the lines and/or process  in a factory through application of Digital tools and improvement methods, developing technical operators. Also provides technical support to plant daily activites, to ensure achievement of manufacturing results (safety, quality, customer service and cost). Act as the manufacturing process expert for base business and troubleshooting activities.

 Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering and operational systems technical support to base business execution as investigations, CAPA and troubleshooting events related to raw material, product composition, manufacturing process design or consumer complaint, by conducting root cause analysis and historical data evaluation;
  • Communicate with internal (manufacturing, quality, engineering) and external partners to coordinate and execute project plans;
  • Support quality audits;
  • Lead technical activities to ensure customer service metrics are met (flexibility & equipment capability & qualifications);
  • Lead process related tasks to ensure operations meet targets of efficiency and costs;
  • Execute and lead manufacturing processes validations and production campaigns development
  • Write tests protocol and reports needed to support troubleshooting and/or new projects implementation;
  • Work together with manufacturing team to deliver smart solutions, improve OEE, reduce loss based on product design;
  • Participate in safety evaluations, assessments, and initial start-up of new equipment sharing formula, process and equipment knowledge;
  • Understand relationship between process yield and product design to achieve process optimization;
  • Independently, execute life cycle management projects for technology transfers, cost reduction, BCP development, manufacturing processes optimization or new technology implementation, working with multi-functional team;
  • Apply organizational understanding and awareness and participate in decision making in collaboration with others; 
  • Engage in project and program management; identifies and implements process level efficiencies; make progression towards innovative thinking at the macro level; generate innovative ideas to create value;
  • Display increasing levels of independence at work and task and handles complex responsibility. 

What we are looking for

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing flows and production processes, as well as continuous improvement;
  • Fluent English is required;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Engineering or correlated areas is required;
  • Must be a critical thinker with problem solving skills;
  • Demonstrate big sense of urgency, resilience and ability to administrate conflicts;
  • Ability to manage complexity and to work collaboratively with critical stakeholders at local, regional and global levels;
  • Good communication, organizational, interpersonal and influencing skills;
  • Project management.
