Ce que tu vas faire

The Supervisor Trade Operations is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the customer service team, coaching and developing staff, monitoring compliance with business procedures, and ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving complex issues and recommending process improvements. You will also prepare reports, manage budgets, and support the development of business objectives and policies

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and optimize daily trade and compliance operations by implementing innovative workflow strategies that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, proactive problem-solving, functional expertise, leadership capabilities, and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Logistics Procurement, Government Affairs, Finance, and Regional Trade Compliance to design and execute process improvements that reduce operational risks, optimize profitability, and elevate service quality.
  • Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to anticipate market trends, measure innovation-driven growth, compliance audit outcomes, and operational KPIs to adjust trade execution and compliance protocols accordingly.
  • Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, automation, and digitalization tools to streamline trade processing, reporting, inbound import operations, and service quality.
  • Oversee compliance with import/export regulations, customs clearance processes, and regulatory standards while creatively adapting procedures to meet evolving industry requirements and support business initiatives including New Product Development.
  • Manage 3PL/4PL partner engagement by defining contractual KPIs and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality management standards.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex operational issues at regional and market levels, coordinating with global teams as necessary.
  • Champion initiatives that promote sustainable trading practices, corporate social responsibility, and diversity, equity, and inclusion within trade and compliance operations.
  • Lead the development and dissemination of best practices within the regional Trade Compliance community to enhance operational consistency, efficiency, and business continuity.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent with a strong foundation in finance, business, or related fields.
  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in trade operations, trade compliance, or related supervisory roles demonstrating leadership and operational excellence.
  • Proven ability to innovate and implement process enhancements that improve accuracy and efficiency in trade workflows.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to inspire teams and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Familiarity with regulatory environments and a proactive approach to compliance and risk management.
  • English - Advanced level

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated aptitude for adopting new technologies and fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation.
  • Expertise in customs regulations including valuation, classification, and special trade programs with a strong process-oriented mindset.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy with the ability to work independently and manage complex workflows.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills focused on continuous improvement and financial performance.
  • Proactive, customer-focused attitude with proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across diverse global stakeholders and organizational levels.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations including field warehousing, transportation management, and import/export logistics.
  • Experience managing 3PL relationships and contractual performance metrics.
  • Advanced project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Financial acumen including knowledge of cost categorization within P&L statements.
  • Proficiency with SAP and advanced Trade Compliance automation tools such as GTOM.
