Territory Sales Manager- Pharmacy (6 Month contract)

This position reports into State Operations Manager-Pharmacy and is based at South West Sydney.

What you will do

The Territory Sales Manager (6 Month contract) is responsible for scheduling and conducting meetings with new and existing customers to expand market share, securing sales through effective support and collaboration, and preparing detailed reports to track sales activities and performance. You will also identify new sales opportunities, adjust territory plans as needed, and communicate competitive insights to support business growth:

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategically cultivate and expand territory market share by identifying untapped opportunities, forging strong client relationships, and scheduling regular appointments with new and existing customers to drive sales growth.
  • Innovate and tailor sales approaches by leveraging data-driven insights and competitive intelligence to meet diverse customer needs and adjust strategies for optimal results.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and internal support teams to design and implement territory-specific campaigns, resolve customer issues, and achieve sales targets.
  • Monitor competitive landscape, market trends, customer needs, pricing structures, and discount strategies to maintain a competitive edge and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Utilize digital tools and CRM platforms to streamline sales processes, track performance metrics, prepare detailed sales activity reports, and enhance customer interactions.
  • Lead dynamic presentations, product demonstrations, and participate in regional and national trade shows, conventions, and sales campaigns to enhance brand presence and generate leads.
  • Negotiate and close sales orders, prepare accurate quotes, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and effective account management.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 2-4 years of progressive sales or field experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in CRM software
  • Self-motivated with a passion for innovative sales strategies and continuous professional growth

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with attention to detail
  • Adaptability and problem-solving mindset to navigate fast-paced, contract-based roles
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales methodologies, brand management, and category principles

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data analytics tools to interpret sales trends
  • Ability to influence and persuade stakeholders diplomatically
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in motivating teams and setting performance metrics
  • Competence in project management including planning, resource allocation, risk management, and reporting
  • Strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and resolving inquiries effectively
