What you will do

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Global Account-to-Report and is based in Bogota or Manila.

The Global Procurement and General Accounting Manager is responsible for conducting financial analyses, deploying dashboards, and partnering cross-functionally to develop solutions. You will provide financial leadership, oversee operating systems, and ensure compliance with policies to support business goals:

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the integration of cutting-edge procurement technologies and financial operating systems to streamline global procurement and general accounting process, enhancing cost-efficiency and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative sourcing strategies and resolving complex business challenges that align with dynamic market trends and organizational goals.
  • Design, implement, and maintain robust financial controls, accounting frameworks, dashboards, and business scorecards to support transparent, agile global reporting and monitor key financial metrics.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with RTP team and serve as the primary liaison to facilitate sustainable procurement practices, financial audits, compliance, and reporting.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making by leveraging advanced analytics to optimize procurement spend, financial performance, and general accounting processes, including variance analyses and cost, pricing, margin, and sales performance.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, creative problem-solving, and sound financial judgment within established procedures.
  • Navigate complex regulatory environments to ensure adherence to corporate policies and local regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities for process innovation, risk mitigation, and enforcement of financial policies and procedures.
  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to business partners and finance teams to ensure accurate, timely financial processes and support the finance department’s objectives.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, procurement, general accounting, or international procurement operations.
  • Proven expertise in financial modeling, cost analysis, and performance measurement.
  • Experience managing relationships with external financial firms and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Solid understanding of financial systems, operational controls, and process optimization.
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor finance staff and business partners.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of corporate financial policies and regulatory frameworks.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in deploying innovative procurement technologies such as AI-driven aging analysis or GRIR analysis for supply chain transparency.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and leveraging big data to inform procurement decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in deploying and managing financial dashboards and business intelligence tools.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of inspiring teams to exceed performance targets through creative strategy execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and influence complex global regulatory frameworks while driving sustainable business practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills tailored to multicultural environments, enabling effective stakeholder engagement worldwide.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and influence business decisions.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills within defined financial frameworks and policies.
