Role reports to: R2P SENIOR MANAGER LATAM AND GLOBAL T AND E

What you will do

The Global T&E Manager is responsible for conducting financial analyses, deploying dashboards, and partnering cross-functionally to develop solutions. You will provide financial leadership, oversee operating systems, and ensure compliance with policies to support business objectives:

Key Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for management of the end-to-end Global Expense Reporting program including BPO management, Corporate Card program management/payments, and the Concur platform.  
  • Will work very closely with other Compliance teams, to drive a comprehensive program for evaluating markets based on different risk profiles and operationalize a risk audit procedure that the Shared Services team will follow to monitor and proactively identify opportunity areas. 
  • Will be expected to regularly present findings to senior management.  Therefore, s/he must possess the ability to simplify complex or controversial information and successfully present it to senior level management and business partners.  
  • Will be responsible for the overall SOX compliance of the Concur system and ensuring that all controls are in place and followed consistently.  S/he will also have to partner with the Global Audit organization to understand SOX requirement changes that may impact the Expense Reporting Program.
  • Will be responsible for the governance and required updates to the Global Travel, Meetings and Expense Policy collaborating across various key stakeholders.  This will include required updates to the annual training course associated with this policy.
  • Will be responsible for overall Expense Reporting budgeting/forecasting.
  • Will be responsible for supporting the Global Expense Reporting process with a particular focus on process improvements
  • Support local payment processes for both cash and credit card payments
  • Monitor regional cash and card payment completion 
  • Provide support for Global Treasury payment process
  • Provide training to Affiliates on GL Reconciliation process
  • Assist Affiliates with ERP open balances
  • Rejected payment process management 
  • Point of escalation for employee support cases, collaboration with third parties and internal teams to drive resolution
  • Support annual review and update of Global Travel, Meetings, and Expense Policy across key stakeholder groups
  • Support annual review of all Concur SOX documentation 
  • Identify and build business cases for Intelligent Automation opportunities (Robotic Process Automation, Workflow Automation) and overall process simplification -manage projects to execute on these ideas

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably with a focus on travel and expense management or related areas.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed financial analyses and interpret complex data sets.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to identify root cause of problems/issues and appropriately engage others in the identification and implementation of a solution required.  
  • Proven leadership experience in training, leading, inspiring and motivating direct and indirect individuals and/or teams required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in deploying advanced analytics and automation tools to transform T&E processes and enhance decision-making.
  • A CMA, CPA, CFE, PMP or MBA is preferred. 
  • Proven experience in developing and managing financial dashboards and scorecards.
  • Exceptional ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and implement compliant, scalable T&E policies worldwide.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive global alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and influence decision-making.
  • Experience managing relationships with external vendors and partners.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools relevant to T&E management.
  • Demonstrated passion for sustainability and innovation within corporate travel programs, with a track record of successful initiatives.
  • Experience mentoring diverse teams and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture in a global matrix organization.
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills within defined financial frameworks.
