What you will do

What you will do

We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven Group Product Manager to lead the growth strategy for our premium beauty brand. You will be responsible for developing and executing the annual marketing plan, develop the marketing strategy, and identifying new opportunities to drive growth across key retail channels of e-commerce, modern trade and GT. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, influencer e-ecosystems, understands consumer behavior in the digital space, while being highly skilled in driving conversions and brand love across online platforms. You will oversee the overall marketing plan and collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, supply chain, R&D, global and regional brand teams) to drive overall brand outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute brand marketing plans that align with the brand’s overall business objectives and goals
  • Develop compelling brand narratives and campaigns tailored for digital-first consumers.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce engaging content for product launches, tutorials, and beauty trends.
  • Optimize product listings with high-quality imagery, descriptions, and SEO-friendly content.
  • Design and execute influencer marketing programs to amplify brand reach and credibility.
  • Monitor trends and consumer behaviors to shape a comprehensive and effective marketing strategy for the brand
  • Lead long term portfolio planning for the brand. Closely collaborate with global teams to drive portfolio and innovation strategy for India
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing initiatives and drive business growth
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities
  • Own and drive overall proposition including portfolio strategy, pricing and packaging
  • Work closely with cross functional teams including demand planning, supply planning and customer development to drive forecasting and integrated business planning for the brand
  • Formulate and implement marketing objectives and policies to maximize sales and profitability
  • Drive excellence by collaborating with the sales team.
  • Define pricing, promotions, and assortment strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.

 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in marketing within the FMCG industry
  • MBA in Marketing
  • Strong work experience working on digital first/e-commerce heavy brand in the premium beauty space
  • Creative mindset with a passion for beauty and storytelling.
  • Strong grasp of influencer marketing and social media trends.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing marketing strategies
  • Data-driven approach with ability to balance creativity and performance.
  • Direct experience in customer interfaces, such as sales or sales managemen
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret complex business data and forecast outcomes

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in sales is desirable
  • Proven track record of success in business growth, strategy development, and innovation
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer sector sales, marketing, and marketing research
  • Effective leadership through ambiguity, conflict, and complexity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
