What you will do

The Director, Corporate Affairs Japan & Korea will lead Kenvue’s Corporate Affairs strategy in Japan, and oversee Korea through a Senior Manager who reports to this role. This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for shaping Kenvue’s reputation, driving stakeholder engagement, and supporting business growth in one of our most dynamic markets.

As the voice of Kenvue in Japan, you will:

· Tell Kenvue’s story both externally and internally, building trust in our brands and strengthening corporate reputation.

· Engage with media, influencers, key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and government officials to shape the external business environment.

· Lead PR strategy to drive mental availability and usage of our products while promoting confidence in our iconic brands.

· Build a vibrant, high-performing organizational culture rooted in growth mindset and confidence by driving employee engagement through impactful programs and shared experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

You will build and manage a high-performing, engaged team and report directly to Managing Director of the Japan & Korea cluster, with a second reporting line to the VP Corporate Affairs, Asia Pacific for global consistency and standardization, including:

· Develop and execute integrated Corporate Affairs strategies aligned with market priorities.

· Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on reputation, communications, and public affairs.

· Oversee external communications, media engagement, and crisis management.

· Lead government relations and policy advocacy efforts in Japan.

· Drive internal communications and employee engagement initiatives.

· Build and inspire a high-performing team across Japan and Korea.

What We’re Looking For

· 10+ years of experience in Corporate Affairs, Communications, or Public Affairs; ideally within multinational FMCG or healthcare industries.

· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, or related field.

· Proven ability to understand business strategy with agility and translate it into effective and impactful solutions with measurable results.

· Proven expertise in media relations, government affairs, and crisis management.

· Strong leadership and team-building skills with a collaborative mindset.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Japanese and English.
