The Head of HCP Engagement, Self Care is a newly created role and is responsible for shaping the vision and roadmap for driving Healthcare Professional Marketing engagement for our Self Care business. In this role, you will be accountable for driving improvement in HCP share of recommendation, HCP recommendation rank, HCP ROI, HCP Reach, and HCP 1st Party Data acquisition.
We are looking for a leader who can inspire and build followership, modernize approaches, sharpen brand stories, and drive change rather than maintaining the status quo. The role primarily targets primary care physicians, pediatricians, and dentists.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead innovative healthcare professional (HCP) engagement strategies that integrate solutions and leverage data analytics to continuously refine tactics in alignment with evolving healthcare landscapes.
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, implement, and execute cutting-edge educational programs, global and regional launch plans, and large-scale product launches that empower healthcare professionals and drive brand growth.
- Amplify the impact of HCP initiatives for Self Care.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, market research, business development, health economics, R&D, and HR teams to integrate diverse insights into commercial strategies, product development, talent planning, and organizational growth.
- Champion a culture of creativity, collaboration, and visionary leadership within teams and across business functions to foster novel approaches to HCP communication, support, and achievement of business and sector goals.
- Oversee the development of digital platforms and tools that enhance real-time interaction and feedback loops with healthcare professionals.
- Drive thought leadership by representing the organization at industry forums and contributing visionary perspectives on HCP engagement, Self Care trends, and commercial strategy.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in healthcare or related industries with demonstrated leadership in commercial and strategic roles.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field; advanced degrees preferred.
- Proven track record of designing and executing transformative HCP engagement programs that have measurably improved healthcare outcomes.
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex healthcare data into actionable strategies that resonate with diverse professional audiences.
- Expertise in leveraging emerging technologies and digital tools to create immersive and impactful engagement experiences.
- A visionary mindset with the agility to anticipate industry shifts and proactively adapt engagement models to maintain competitive advantage.
- Strong strategic leadership capabilities including collaboration, innovation, talent development, and change management.
- Proven people management skills with a track record of leading diverse, cross-functional teams in complex matrix environments.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of inspiring teams and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple disciplines.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience within the healthcare industry or related sectors with exposure to market access, product launches, and multi-channel marketing.
- While OTC (over-the-counter) experience is a plus, we are open to candidates from other categories/backgrounds, emphasizing leadership, strategic thinking, and learning agility over deep subject matter expertise.
