Role reports to:

Financial Reporting Senior Manager

Location:

Asia Pacific, Philippines, National Capital, Paranaque

What you will do

Key Responsibilities

  • Support complex interface reconciliation activities including but not limited to IDOC error handling and monitoring, root cause analysis and permanent resolution implementation, accrual posting, and interface reconciliation.
  •  Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.
  •  Support and identify improvements and automation projects within the scope and/or team.
  • Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies.
  • Other tasks delegated by the Senior Team Lead/Manager

Compliance:

  • Assist in any audit process raised by Legal Entity Controllership.
  • Adhere to the strong internal controls in place to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies 
  • Organized and works efficiently to meet tight deadlines. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in SAP, Ariba, Excel, and other Microsoft tools are good to have
  • Experience in an Interface, Procurement & General Accounting, or Financial Reporting department desirable 
  • Min of 2  years of proven experience in accounting, problem solving, process improvement, and communication
  • Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge preferrable
  • Language: fluent in English, and knowledge in other language skills are desirable
