Buyer Paper Packaging NA

This role will be part of the Sourcing Team within the Global One Procurement Business Function. Procurement function provides best-in-class, cost-effective financial, compliance, procurement, and enablement solutions to our Operating Companies around the world.

 

This position will be based out of Bangalore (India) and will report into Sr. Manager Paper Packaging & Hygiene Category

What You Will Do 

 

I - Source to Contract Management

You will be responsible for sourcing and contracting of services within the Paper Packaging Category in the market of North-America and will support the execution of  sourcing projects within following sub-categories –

·       Corrugated

·       Folding Carton

·       Leaflet

 

 

II - Senior Stakeholder Management

You will engage independently with internal as well as external stakeholder relations. Internal stakeholders will encompass of Business Leadership, Regional Category Leadership, Cross-Functional Leadership and Global Sourcing Leadership, while external stakeholders will include vendors, consultants, partners and contractors. You will work closely with country and global category managers in successfully executing the category strategy and create business value via procurement process.

  

III -  Support Sourcing Value Chain Execution

You will support the end-to-end execution & value chain of sourcing process independently, which includes following steps:

• Market analysis to understand market, product, and price trends of services, and formulate sourcing strategy

• Vendor identification and qualification/audit, in line with Packaging Leadership Strategy and Guidelines

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities

•  Execution of Request for Proposal (RFP)/bidding process, wherever needed & following category leadership strategy

• With guidance of the Packaging Leadership Strategy, you will support generating Value (savings record and monitor) and spend management.

• Following Packaging Leadership Strategy and Guidelines, you will support bidding, supplier selection process, as well as contract negotiations and contract finalization

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities

• Strict adherence to Kenvue Sourcing Policy and Approval matrix

 

What We Are Looking For

 Required Qualifications

·                 5-10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement

·                 Bachelor's degree in business, or equivalent experience

·                 Proven track record of driving benefits and process improvements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

·                 Strong commercial and contract negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

·                 Proven ability to lead project and achieve business goals

·                 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·                 Experience in locating, researching, evaluating, selecting and developing potential sources of materials or services

·                 Advanced negotiation and communication skills

·                 Expertise in Paper packaging

·                 Strong ability to manage deadlines, assess and communicate risk.

·                 Technologically savvy, stakeholder focus; flexibility to adapt to the needs of the business.
