Business Intelligence & Commercial Excellence Manager BE
We are recruiting a Business Intelligence & Commercial Excellence Manager in BELGIUM. This role supports the commercial business on improving commercial performance by optimizing processes, capabilities, and execution across sales, marketing, and customer-facing teams.

This position reports into Pharma Channel Lead and is based in Antwerp, BE.

What will you do
The Business Intelligence & Commercial Excellence Manager is responsible for:
Revenue Forecasting & Commercial Performance Alignment
- Key point of contact between Sales and Sales Operations to support revenue forecasting and performance management
- Provide commercial teams with dashboards and performance insights to support informed decision‑making
- Support Sales Operations with business context and analytical inputs to strengthen revenue forecasting
- Liaise with the Finance community to enable aligned forecasting tools and methodologies
- Support sales teams with reporting and oversight of rebate and promotional budgets, collaborating with the Sales Operations Manager and the Centre of Excellence on reconciliations
Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
- Design and optimize sales force structure (targeting & segmentation, sizing, territories)
- Improve route-to-market and customer coverage models
- Define and refine call models and engagement frequency
- Drive productivity improvements and best-practice adoption
- Support incentive plan design and effectiveness tracking
Data, Analytics & Insights
- Own commercial dashboards and reporting systems
- Turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership & sales force
- Champion fact-based decision-making across commercial teams
Promo Optimization & Brilliant execution
- Evaluate promotional effectiveness and ROI
- Improve revenue management processes and discipline
- Align marketing and sales around common objectives and KPIs to track brilliant execution (# of facings, share of shelf, MSL,TDP)
- Drive omnichannel effectiveness (field + digital)
Capability Building & Enablement
- Define required commercial capabilities (analytics, selling skills, planning)
- Coach teams on performance management and insight usage
- Build analytical maturity & adaption of available tools within commercial functions
Tools, Systems & CRM Governance
- Own or co-own CRM effectiveness and user adoption
- Implement commercial tools (e.g. dashboards, forecasting, planning tools) eg Power BI
- Ensure data quality, governance, and consistency
- Act as bridge between business users and IT/analytics teams
What we are looking for
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial excellence, business analytics/intelligence, sales force effectiveness
- Strong analytical skills& business acumen
- Advanced analytical capability with mastery of excel, power BI etc.
- Academic studies: bachelor or master business administration, economics or similar
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in Dutch & French.
- Preferable knowledge of data analysis tools – SAP, BW, Power BI, CRM (Mobile in Touch)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Structured, well-organized way of working with attention to detail
- High propensity for collaboration & cross functional ways of working.
- Highly self – directed
