In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the generation of actionable insights across various brands and product categories, driving profitable growth through effective collaboration with both internal stakeholders and external partners.
As the Customer Analytics Manager, you will harness your analytical expertise to deliver insightful analyses that reveal new business opportunities. Your findings will inform strategic recommendations, fostering mutual growth for Kenvue and our retail partners. You will work closely with the Customer Development team to craft and execute robust customer business plans and achieve key business objectives.
Your responsibilities will encompass the management and optimization of critical performance indicators, including POS metrics, market share growth targets, market importance, and customer profitability. By leveraging data-driven insights, you will play a crucial role in shaping our strategic direction and ensuring the success of our collaborative initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead insight generation through robust analytics to accelerate growth against Walmart’s customer priorities and strategies. Provide informed recommendations on opportunities.
- Lead tools and reporting to support the Revenue Growth Management (RGM) process (re: assortment, pricing, promotional optimization) for the Customer Team.
- Scale and deploy analytical best practices across the Customer team, including best-in-class Analytic Frameworks, Storyboards and Trade Investment Analytics. Enhance and develop new Enterprise tools by integrating emerging technologies (Eg. AI) to accelerate organizational agility and capabilities.
- Be an expert at using a broad set of analytical tools (e.g. Retail Link, Nielsen MarketTrack, Customer POS, HomeScan, Numerator, Cross Outlet Facts, Spectra, Euromonitor, Kantar) while integrating data, information and research to identify business trends and opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations to drive profitable growth.
- Lead the framework of Customer Joint Business Plans building and enhancing Customer forecast and scenario planning tools.
- Deliver ongoing data reporting and ad hoc analytical requests from internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a keen knowledge and understanding of consumer, shopper and customer insights to lead the development of frameworks and metrics that uncover incrementality.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of a University Degree is required; a concentration in business administration, finance, economics or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience and a minimum of 2+ years of experience in CPG analytics (performance analysis, multi data-sets, return on investment, customer segmentations) is highly desirable
- Deep understanding of key syndicated data (i.e. Nielsen Answers, Market Track, Homescan)
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities and familiarity with business information generation and analysis methods. Proven ability to condense analysis into actionable insights.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain and simplify concepts and analytical insights to business leaders.
- High Proficiency with MS Office applications (i.e. Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
Desired:
- Previous experience in Brand Management, Sales or Category Management
- Retail Link experience is an asset
- Demonstrated strength in partnering with internal/external contacts, including Retail Customers to generate mutually beneficial, long-term opportunities and influencing/negotiating positive outcomes.
