This position reports to Senior Manager – Product Data Asset and is based at Bangalore, India.

Role reports to: Senior Manager – Product Data Asset

Location: India

Travel %: 10%

What you will do 

As Manager, Business Partner Master Data Asset you will support critical global initiatives and help establish a globally harmonized view of Kenvue Vendor and Customer information by owning the Business Partner Master Data Asset. 

You will analyze business needs, collaborate with business and IT partners to shape requirements, and enable a single view of business partner data worldwide. You will manage the strategy for data cleansing, data profiling, data collection, and data harmonization. You will play a key role in data governance design for the Business Partner Master Data domain, as well as drive overall change management and communications to cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Drive the Business Partner Master data product roadmap, taking full accountability to meet assigned deadlines and deliverables of relevant projects
  • Support all aspects of the Global Business Partner Master data model, including governance process design, business requirements gathering, product backlog management, enhancement evaluation, and more
  • Participate hands-on in data collection and analysis, Business Partner numbering harmonization, data cleansing, data profiling, and other activities to enable the roll-out of the global Master Data Management solution to all regions
  • Build relationships with partners to understand business needs and translate these into requirements
  • Recommend Master Data and Data Asset features and solutions considering priorities and tradeoffs, and help drive alignment among partners
  • Contribute to data design and sourcing decisions
  • Conduct risk and impact analysis; communicate the impact of changes to multiple downstream systems
  • Develop and analyze process and data flows, identify potential redundancies, overlaps in accountability, key decision points and report findings to senior leaders
  • Own documentation and continued maintenance of the Global Business Partner Master data model and associated data standards for each business partner master data attribute 
  • Ensure required documentation and project plans are up to date; provide regular updates to leaders and stakeholders
  • Ensure all compliance requirements are met
  • Partner with Data Management and Data Quality teams to implement a robust data quality monitoring framework, aligned with global Business Partner Master Data standards
  • Participate in data governance activities, partnering with regional and functional teams to drive data quality
  • Tell the story of Master Data and Data Assets and feature releases with effective communications through various Kenvue communication channels 
  • Shape communication and organizational change management strategy related to Master data and associated business processes and data governance

What We Are Looking For 

Required Qualifications 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least 8-10 years of business experience in master data, supply chain, operations, or multi-functional business environment. 
  • Experience working across multiple business functions , especially within Operations, Data Management, and IT
  • Business Partner Master Data, Customer & Vendor Master data governance, data quality experience
  • Experience with SAP (especially S/4 Hana) or ECC or SAP MDG systems
  • Advanced skills with SQL*Plus 
  • Advanced Excel skills, and proficiency with PowerPoint 
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration, communication, and change management skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to courageously challenge the status quo, influence, and inspire changes to business processes and systems 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to communicate effectively in business and technical terms with equal effectiveness 
  • Curious mind with an ability to quickly learn new functions, technologies, and processes

Desired Qualifications 

  • Masters or PhD in a relevant field (e.g., Information Systems, Supply Chain or Operations Management, Computer Science, Data Engineering, etc.)
  • Professional certifications such as CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) or DGSP (Data Governance and Stewardship Professional)
  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud suite (e.g., Azure, Databricks)
  • Background in Agile methodologies, particularly experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master
