Kenvue Canada's corporate office is currently located in Markham, ON but is scheduled to move to North York (Yonge and Sheppard area) in or around Q3 2026.

Reporting to the Head of Brand Growth, the Marketing Director, Brand Growth is a strategic leadership role, leading an outside-in focused and consumer first marketing team, responsible for delivering against our strategic, operational and financial goals for their respective brands. This role requires the ability to drive accelerated brand growth, build and lead high-performing marketing teams, and manage end-to-end brand strategies. They will lead collaboration between cross functional teams, including creative and media agency partners, sales, supply chain, customer strategy, finance, regulatory and legal to enhance market penetration. Mentoring and developing the team is an essential part of the role along with crafting succession plans and career paths with each individual on the team. The individual will also sit as a core member of the Marketing Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities:

 Planning & Portfolio Strategy:

  • Establish long term vision and business strategies, solutions, and capabilities to enable achievement of franchise’s strategic plan

  • Monitor external environment to identify growth opportunities and commercialize a robust new product/commercial innovation pipeline in partnership with global franchise & cross-functional teams

 

Brand Equity Development, Consumer Communication and Media strategy:

  • Lead all aspects of the development & execution of innovative brand marketing plans, impactful activations and omni-channel solutions

  • Lead development and execution of best-in-class digital media plans

  • Use real-time data to optimize performance, monitor competitive environment & identify new growth opportunities

  • Drive integration of activations to enable flawless execution of plans

  • Lead development and transcreation of persuasive communication assets for deployment across all media touchpoints

P&L / Financial Management:

  • Set & optimize investment strategies across all lines of P&L to deliver brand contribution & NTS goals

  • Identify Revenue Growth Management opportunities to create efficiencies & unlock profitable growth

  • Continually track and optimize returns on all investment decisions, balancing risks, opportunities & trade-offs across the P&L

External Partnership / Joint Value Creation:

  • Build strategic partnerships with agencies & vendors to keep pace with evolving consumer trends, attitudes & behaviours

  • Be at the forefront of the evolving consumer healthcare landscape to identify capabilities, health stakeholders, and channels required to win in marketplace

  • Support partnership development with Retail Customers to create joint value for Consumers, Customers and Kenvue

  • Partner with Global and local Health Care Practitioner team on brand specific healthcare marketing strategies.

  • Champion supply chain initiatives to ensure high customer service levels and unlock consumer/customer value across full portfolio of SKUs

Talent & Culture Management:

  • Establish a values-based culture of speed, agility & continuous experimentation within the cross-functional franchise team

  • Provide clear direction, coaching, feedback, and performance management to and through subordinate team members

  • Build a high performing team of direct & indirect reports, including recruitment, development and retention of critical talent

  • Influence and navigate the enterprise to clear organizational obstacles, support team objectives & develop pipeline of future leaders

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or equivalent degree is preferred.

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) marketing/commercial experience is required.

  • Must have demonstrated success with direct people management.

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated track record of marketing leadership, including digital and performance marketing, creative development, new product, and strategic plan development.

  • Coaching/mentoring skills to develop others. Building strong partnerships with external agencies (creative and media), cross-functional partners locally and globally, as well as stakeholders and customers

  • Strong business and financial acumen; proven track record in managing P&Ls, financials and budgets.

  • Strong collaboration & communication skills.

  • Navigating ambiguity & complexity to drive outcomes by being comfortable with risk.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional and senior management to impact decision-making.

  • Servant leadership by demonstrating the ability to relinquish responsibility and allowing authority to come from all angles.

  • Track record in identifying winning consumer insights, growth opportunities & priorities, and influencing alignment to deliver growth plan.

  • The ability to think analytically and strategically to understand complex or ambiguous problems or issues.

  • Experience working with Legal, Regulatory, IT, and Global partners.

  • The role may require up to 10% business travel: 1 – 2 times per quarter.
