What you will do

The position is responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the NPD/NPI projects for Asia pacific markets for product development & Implementation perspective.
  • Support Global Product Development Team for Asia Pacific
  • Lead product development & implementation of local NPDs/NPIs independently.
  • Support PD team to understand the need-gaps for Asia pacific markets for different product formats so that it can be converted into prototypes.
  • Support consumer in use test activities for the product assessment & qualification.
  • Lead & Conduct manufacturing trials to establish manufacturing processes for NPDs/NPIs independently.
  • Co-ordinate with 3rd parties for generating data to provide claim substantiation support.
  • Participate in cross-functional team meetings and provide technical recommendations for projects.
  • Develop the SOPs, protocols, reports & specifications of RM & finished goods as part of project launch requirements.
  • Lead Claims development & substantiation process to support new communication for different geographies.
  • Lead stability studies to support the end-to-end product launches. Accountable for technical delivery of projects.
  • Compile and analyze data, identify causes, draw conclusions, generate reports
  • Be responsible for maintaining products compliance, consistency of practices and work quality
  • Development of new products, materials and technologies for Engineered Products. Manage routine processes and sets of tasks and deliver critical work within larger projects or initiatives

What we are looking for

Educational Qualification:  M.Tech Chemical Engineering, Textile expert, process engineer, or relevant

Work Experience:  

  • A minimum of Bachelor degree in Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering is required
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience with Engineered products
  • Exposure to new product development / introduction process in FMCG Industry
  • Exposure of working in plant and with suppliers will be added benefit
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written
