This position reports into Site Quality Director, MAKE and is based at Guelph, ON, Canada.

Role reports to: Site Quality Director, MAKE

Location: Guelph, ON, Canada

What you will do

As a key member of the MAKE Quality Leadership Team, the Quality Excellence Lead will be responsible for driving continuous improvement (CI) initiatives and strategic quality programs at the Guelph site. The role plays a pivotal part in fostering a proactive quality culture and delivering site-wide excellence through program governance, audit readiness, change management, and KPI tracking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement programs including Kenvue Operational Excellence (KOE)

  • Oversee quality performance metrics and KPI tracking/reporting locally, regionally, and globally

  • Support audit readiness through GMP gap assessments and remediation

  • Develop and deploy strategic roadmaps, OKRs, dashboards, and scorecards

  • Manage the Quality team's project portfolio and support change management initiatives

  • Participate in Quality townhalls, GEMBA walks, training, and global initiatives to enhance quality culture

  • Support Quality headcount, budgeting, capital planning, and oversight of new product introductions

  • Engage in site-level CAPA, Investigations (INV), Non-Conformance, and LIR reviews

  • Approve SOPs, support lab investigations, and contribute to site training programs

  • Provide site leadership updates and escalate decisions when needed

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related discipline

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in Quality, R&D, or Production in the pharmaceutical, food, or water industry

  • People management experience

  • Strong SAP and general computer proficiency

  • Knowledge of GMP/GLP regulations

  • Experience in analytical and microbiology laboratories

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills

  • Ability to prioritize, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks effectively

Desired Qualifications

  • Lean or Process Excellence certification is an asset
