What you will do
The Senior Key Account Manager Pharma is responsible for supervising the development and servicing of national/key accounts to achieve business sales objectives:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the pharmaceutical industry
- Lead strategic planning and execution of sales initiatives to drive revenue growth
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior account managers to ensure team success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to clients
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business sales objectives
- Leading and motivating a diverse sales team to meet or exceed established sales goals
- Providing expert guidance and support to sales representatives on product knowledge and customer interactions
- Conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing coaching to enhance sales team performance
- Creating and managing sales promotions and incentives to drive motivation and sales growth
- Analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and sales
- Preparing and controlling budgets for the assigned territory or region
- Ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures in sales activities
- Collaborating with sales manager to implement sales plans and strategies for achieving objectives
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or key account management
- University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a related field
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with clients
- Ability to think strategically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Minimum of 6-8 years of proven track record in delivering business results
- Proficiency in CRM tools and systems for effective sales management
- Experience in successful new product launches and driving product adoption
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify growth opportunities
- Effective coaching and performance management skills to develop sales team
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of digital frameworks for reporting and business review formats
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective interaction with team and clients
- Working knowledge of products and procedures to guide sales team effectively
- Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet applications for sales reporting and analysis
- Ability to quickly understand market dynamics and customer behavior in the region
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive as needed for sales activities
