This position reports into the Director, Data Science & Digital Solutions and is based in Bengaluru, India.

What You Will Do   

As Sr. Manager, Digital Solutions & Business Operations, you will play a pivotal role in enabling cross-functional teams with actionable insights and business intelligence through digital solutions. will oversee support operations for a portfolio of Digital Solutions, including Data Science models, custom applications, and analytical tools 

You will also drive critical processes for the Digital Solutions team, including strategic planning and quarterly release planning, collaborating with partner teams to ensure end-to-end alignment and drive successful delivery of high-impact digital solutions. 

The ideal candidate will bring strong business acumen along with technical knowledge, advanced analytical expertise, and a collaborative mindset. 

Key Responsibilities  

 

Digital Solution Support 

  • Manage 24 x 5 Data & Digital Support operations for visualization, data build, data science, application development 

  • Be directly accountable for SLA adherence and other KPIs for the Support team 

  • Monitor the effectiveness of support operations and digital solutions, utilizing metrics to inform strategy and decision-making  

  • Continuously evaluate and optimize support processes, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness 

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience and quick recovery from disruptions 

  • Facilitate tabletop exercises to test and refine BCPs, ensuring that cross-functional teams are prepared for potential crises and understand their roles in response scenarios 

  • Collaborate with data scientists, development teams, and other stakeholders to understand recurring issues and proactively implement counter measures  

 

Strategic and Quarterly Planning: 

  • Lead quarterly planning processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams to prioritize features, allocate resources, and establish timelines that align with business goals 

  • Assess and manage resource requirements for upcoming projects and initiatives, ensuring the right talent and tools are available to meet project timelines and objectives 

  • Ensure that resource capacity allocation supports the execution of product roadmaps and project plans 

  • Conduct regular capacity assessments to identify resource gaps or constraints, proactively addressing potential issues to ensure project milestones are met without compromising quality 

 

  People Management:  

  • Lead a high-performing team of Support analysts, driving a culture of innovation and continuously raising the bar on performance 

  • Set team objectives and individual goals in alignment with organizational digital transformation goals 

  • Assign tasks based on team capacity and individual expertise and optimize resources. 

Technology and Tools: 

  • Able to lead teams who use Apply advanced tools and platforms (e.g., Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, Azure ML, Databricks) to develop scalable digital solutions. 

  • Lead a team to Leverage visualization and reporting platforms to deliver real-time insights that support supply chain decision-making. 

  • Lead a team to ensure robust data pipelines, model deployment frameworks, and automation processes to support repeatability and scalability. 

 

Desired Qualifications  

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering, Data Management, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field 

  • At least 12-15 years of business experience, with experience in Supply Chain Domain and experience leading digital or analytics teams that drive measurable business results 

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and analysis. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms (Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure ML, Synapse, Databricks) and leading cloud solution design and migrations. 

  • Skilled in Agile, DevOps, and DataOps practices to improve delivery cycle times, consistency, and quality 

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. 

  • Hands-on experience in program and project management, overseeing digital solution delivery 

  • Experience in defining and monitoring SLAs, KPIs, and other performance metrics to assess operational effectiveness and drive improvements 

 

Preferred qualifications 

  • Master’s degree, MBA, or PhD in a relevant field  

  • Experience leading 24x5 or 24x7 Support teams 

  • Experience in at least one Supply Chain function (e.g., Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics)
