This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Trade & Consumer Promotions, and is a hybrid role based in Summit, NJ, with remote work considered on a case-by-case basis and if approved by the company.


The Trade Promotions Manager (TPM) owns strategy and end-to-end delivery for national and custom display programs, special packs, and gift sets for a segment of the Kenvue portfolio of products. The TPM may also lead and develop team members supporting programs across other Kenvue brands and businesses. Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Trade & Consumer Promotions, this role partners with Sales, Marketing, Customer Marketing, Supply Chain, Trade Customization, Finance, and agency teams to deliver profitable programs, strong in-market execution, healthy inventory, and measurable ROI.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own strategy, annual planning, forecasting, budgets, and business objective and metric delivery for a select Kenvue family of products national and custom display programs, special packs, and gift sets.
  • Lead end-to-end commercialization, from insight-led concepts and go-to-market planning through supply readiness, customer execution, and performance reporting.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for national and custom displays, special packs, and gift sets, translating insights into differentiated, profitable programs.
  • Align cross-functional and agency partners on priorities, timelines, risks, decisions, and execution.
  • Lead priority projects and process improvements in a fast-paced, evolving matrixed environment.

Business Planning

  • Lead collaborative planning cycles with brand and customer teams, using shopper, consumer, category, and retailer insights to shape programs, timelines, and forecasts.
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop and execute revenue growth management strategies that deliver top- and bottom-line growth.
  • Manage trade promotion budgets and resources, balancing strategic priorities, executional needs, and financial returns.

Analytics

  • Evaluate the 4Ps and translate performance trends and insights into recommendations that improve programs and inform pricing, assortment, merchandising, and inventory decisions.
  • Use trade promotions systems and project initiations to manage trade funding, optimize investments, and improve P&L performance.
  • Evaluate post-program profitability, ROI, sell-through, inventory health, and SLOB across national and custom displays, on-packs, in-packs, SIOC, special packs, and gift sets; apply learnings to future plans.

Customer Team Engagement

  • Lead regular communication with internal cross-functional and sales teams to align display, special pack, and gift set forecasts, budgets, business plans, trade objectives, risks, and actions.
  • Ensure execution through ongoing customer-team engagement, issue resolution, and in-store visits.

People and Organizational Leadership

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to team members supporting national and custom display plans, special packs, and gift sets across Kenvue brands and businesses.
  • Set clear priorities, roles, timelines, and accountability; coach and develop talent through regular feedback, performance management, development planning, and stretch opportunities.
  • Build an inclusive, collaborative, and action-oriented team culture focused on strong business results.

 

What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
 

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in consumer-packaged goods.
  • Preferred experience in in-store display merchandising and trade customization, direct customer sales, business analytics, and/or customer marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing others.
  • Ability to lead complex projects, manage multiple workstreams and deadlines, assess risk, and prioritize competing demands.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to gain alignment across levels and functions.
  • Ability to translate customer, shopper, consumer, and category research into clear business actions and investment decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical tools, with the ability to evaluate data and draw accurate conclusions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving matrixed environment.
  • Up to 10% travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree.
  • Experience leading national or customer-specific display programs, special packs, gift sets, or trade customization commercialization.
  • Experience with trade promotion systems and/or revenue growth management.

$124.100,00 - $175.200,00
