Role reports to: Manager Global Treasury Operations
Location: Bangalore
Travel %: Less than 10%
What you will do
This role is responsible for performing Global Treasury Shared Service activities, which may include banking operations, cash management and Treasury reporting. Banking operations include but are not limited to bank account signer updates, KYC documentation, and bank portal administration.
The Treasury Analyst must be organized, dependable, and have the ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities.
This role maintains close collaboration and partnership with Regional and Corporate Treasury, legal, tax and accounting to ensure regulatory compliance, control, and accurate financial reporting. This position will also involve frequent communication with main banking partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily cash positioning and pool cash from all secondary bank accounts when necessary
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on the global cash position
- Assist in executing standby letters of credit, export letters of credit, performance bonds and similar instruments
- Develop, monitor and analyze bank fees
- Work with company’s business units to prepare weekly cash; coordinates with teams to identify and mitigate forecasting variances
- Setting up new banking accounts, services, and handling bank inquiries and related matters
- Assisting with KYC documentation requests
- Maintenance and update signatories on every global bank account
- Managing banking portal user access
- Performing periodic audits of signature authorities and portal access
- Administration for opening, migrating and closing accounts
- Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in Treasury and comply with our treasury policies
- Participate in Treasury initiatives
- Embrace a mindset of continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve ways of working in your area of responsibility
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Minimum 1-4 years of finance experience
- Highly organized and able to balance multiple ongoing tasks and projects
- Resourceful and driven self-starter
- Background in high-volume and complex environments is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe
- Fluent in English as a minimum
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with global financial operations
- Payment industry experience is a plus
- Experience in Treasury Management Systems
- Experience with bank documentation and/or portal maintenance is a plus
