What you will do

What you will do

The ITC Junior Analyst is responsible for analyzing general ledger accounts, assisting in month-end reconciliation, generating reports, performing audits, ensuring compliance, and assisting with special projects as needed:

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze accounts receivable data to identify trends and patterns

  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for management review

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve accounts receivable processes

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations

  • Analyze and balance general ledger Accounts Receivable refund, company specific write-offs, bad debt/write-ins, and settlement clearing accounts in accordance with month-end reconciliation with financial accounting.

  • Complete month-end reconciliation with financial accounting on large or complex accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Analyze month-end and quarterly reports such as intercompany, company specific write-offs, bad debt, and reconcile as needed for financial statement analysis.

  • Perform research and analysis on new credit applicants and existing company portfolios to monitor performance/trends and compare to industry benchmarks.

  • Assist in developing and implementing plans to streamline credit approval process for efficient operations.

  • Provide periodic presentations of analysis to peers and senior management for informed decision-making.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • University/Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 0-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or financial analysis

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Excellent data entry and processing skills with attention to detail and accuracy for financial statement analysis.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and communicate effectively with management for issue resolution and decision-making.

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

  • Strong team working and relationship building skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.

  • Proficiency in using computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; basic SAP skills desirable for efficient operations.
