Commercial Quality Specialist (Fixed term)

This position reports into Commercial Quality Manager and is based in Istanbul, Turkey.

Role reports to: Commercial Quality Manager

Location: Istanbul, Turkey

Travel %: Minimal

Pay: 24

What you will do

Establishes and maintains quality assurance programs, procedures and controls, ensuring that performance parameters of both the products and quality system elements are continually measured to drive improvement initiatives. The Commercial Quality Specialist is responsible for monitoring and tracking quality detractors, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and releasing commercial products to the market. This role will have cluster wide responsibilities in AMET which will provide a lot of room for growth, development opportunities with other departments.  In addition, this position could be an opportunity to work with FMCG and even products such as dietary supplements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control processes for commercial products

• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement in product quality

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.

• Conduct audits and inspections to assess product quality and identify areas for enhancement.

• Provide training and guidance to team members on quality control best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and track quality detractors utilizing various databases

• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, safety, and environmental regulations

• Write and assist others in writing standard operating procedures

• Generate and identify significant trends, reporting them to management and cross functional teams

• Provide advanced technical assistance in information mapping technology

• Support product review and release functions

• Generate complex statistical summaries

• Provide support to good manufacturing practice auditing.

• Establish and maintain quality assurance programs, procedures, and controls to drive improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Medical, Engineering, or a Chemistry discipline.

• Licensed as a Qualified Person from Turkish Health Authority, or eligible for qualification based on the below criteria is preferred:

-He/she should have 2 years of practical experience in a manufacturing site authorized by the Drugs & Devices Agency.

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Pharma or FMCG segments, with specific Quality Assurance, regulatory and regulatory compliance competencies or involved in batch release activities.

• Proven working experience in quality assurance programs and controls

• Proficiency in written and spoken Turkish and English is a must.

• Experience in writing standard operating procedures

• Experience in supporting product review and release functions

Desired Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in quality control processes

• Experience in generating and identifying significant trends

• Experience in generating statistical summaries

• Experience in good manufacturing practice auditing
