This is a broad and dynamic role responsible for delivering strategic communications, stakeholder engagement and public affairs initiatives that protect and enhance Kenvue's reputation across Australia and New Zealand.
Working across a diverse portfolio, you will lead high-impact communications initiatives, support business-critical projects, provide strategic communications counsel and help navigate complex issues and stakeholder environments. You will work closely with colleagues across Commercial, HCP, Regulatory Affairs, Legal and HR to deliver integrated communications strategies that support business priorities and strengthen trust in our company and brands.
The role offers exposure across multiple Corporate Affairs disciplines, including reputation management, issues management, public affairs, stakeholder engagement, executive communications and employee communications.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable developing strategy and delivering high-quality execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives that support business priorities and strengthen Kenvue's reputation
- Partner with leaders and cross-functional teams to develop communications strategies that drive engagement, build trust and support organisational objective
- Support the planning and execution of communications responses to reputation-sensitive issues, ensuring clear, timely and consistent messaging and stakeholder engagement. Including business preparedness and communications readiness activities
- Manage agency and external partner relationships to ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes aligned to business objectives
- Lead employee communications initiatives that support engagement, organisational priorities and business change
- Develop high-quality communications materials including key messages, executive communications, presentations, briefing documents, media materials and stakeholder updates
- Monitor the external environment to proactively identify emerging issues, opportunities and trends that may impact the business, providing recommendations and strategic insights
- Lead public affairs and advocacy activities, including stakeholder engagement, policy monitoring and the development of supporting materials
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including industry associations, healthcare organisations, media and other relevant partners.
- Measure and evaluate communications activities, identifying opportunities to strengthen effectiveness and impact.
What we are looking for
- 7+ years' experience in Corporate Affairs, Communications or Public Affairs
- Experience across reputation management, issues management or crisis communications in a complex or regulated environment
- Experience developing and delivering strategic communications and stakeholder engagement initiatives across internal and external audiences
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex issues and tailor messages for different audiences
- Experience developing executive communications, presentations, briefing materials and leadership messaging
- Strong organisational skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive, curious and solutions-oriented mindset, with a willingness to take ownership and continuously seek opportunities to add value
- Experience within consumer healthcare, healthcare, pharmaceuticals or FMCG is highly regarded
