Travel %: 20% to DCs
What you will do
The Deliver Excellence Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing the lowest cost source of supply for each commodity/category. You will effectively negotiate with suppliers, conduct industry research, and manage key supplier relationships to achieve cost reduction goals:
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure excellence in project delivery and client satisfaction
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers to drive high performance and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization
- Drive a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the organization
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and excellence
- Network with 3PL, transportation companies, freight forwarders and custom brokers
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies
- Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes and cost reduction initiatives
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with 3PL, transportation companies, freight forwarders and custom brokers to ensure best value deals
- Manage supplier quality programs and capabilities to meet performance goals
- Delegate responsibilities effectively and hold team members accountable for deliverables
- Conduct research on transportation methods, rates, and routes
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in logistics operation and project management or related field
- University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field. MBA/DBA is a plus
- Proven track record of delivering excellence in project management and client satisfaction
- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Ability to think creatively and drive innovation in project delivery
- Strong analytical skills. Not only providing data but to draw proposal from the result
