Role reports to: Head of Marketing India.

Location: Mumbai

What you will do

The Director – Marketing, Baby Care will serve as the strategic and executional lead for baby care category in India with iconic brands like Johnson’s and Aveeno Baby. This leader will be responsible for rebuilding and revitalizing the Johnson’s brand and accelerating the growth trajectory of Aveeno Baby.

This role requires a visionary yet hands-on marketer with deep expertise in digital marketing, influencer ecosystems, brand building, and full-funnel activation. The ideal candidate is an inspiring leader who combines consumer obsession, sharp strategic thinking, and flawless execution to redefine Baby Care for the next generation of Indian parents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead the end-to-end brand x market strategy and execution for Johnson’s and Aveeno Baby to deliver long-term brand health and category leadership.

  • Lead cutting-edge digital-first marketing strategies with strong foundations in performance marketing, content ecosystems, and influencer marketing.

  • Shape and execute end-to-end marketing activations including ATL, digital, doctor engagement, and e-commerce marketing, and influence BTL, retail activations ensuring consistent brand experience across all consumer touchpoints.

  • Serve as the India voice in global forums, influencing global strategy, product innovation, brand communication platforms and investment priorities.

  • Lead, mentor and inspire a high performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, agility, continuous learning, motivation, and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Own the marketing P&L for Baby Care, ensuring optimal budget allocation across brands, channels, and programs. Drive forecasting accuracy, ROI measurement, and strategic investment decisions to maximize long-term business impact.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles.

  • Masters degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven expertise in developing and executing marketing programs that create new market segments and drive brand repositioning.

  • Depth in digital marketing, influencer marketing, e-commerce acceleration, and full-funnel consumer activation.

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and developing talent through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

  • Experience in marketing research, including voice of the customer (VOC) methodologies, to inform strategic decisions.

  • Direct experience in customer-facing roles such as sales or sales management
