あなたがすること

The Laboratory Engineer/Plant Hygienist will be part of the Quality control team with responsibilities both at the lab and as a plant hygienist in the production area. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and overall hygiene of our production facilities. The position will also be responsible for testing, monitoring and investigating products, raw materials and packaging materials to ensure compliance with requirements. Environmental monitoring of production facilities and improvements of standards and existing processes will be part of the responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct Micro analysis tests on finished products, bulk, raw materials, water and gases
  • Plant Hygienist role in GMP D-classified production areas
  • Perform environmental monitoring tests, create reports and trending
  • Plan, perform and report validation/technical trials within microbiology area
  • Ensuring compliance with current regulations and internal requirements
  • Monitor trends, identify issues, recommend and implement improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Provide training and support to team members to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Provide coaching and training to employees on microbiology and hygiene practices and procedures
  • Conduct investigations, collect data, analyze trends and prepare reports for assigned processes

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of related experience in Quality Control Microbiology/Plant hygienist role or a similar field within Food or drug production
  • Knowledge of Plant hygiene in GMP areas/food or drug production facilities including Environmental Monitoring
  • Proven experience in microbiology testing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Fluency in Swedish (main language) and English (at least B1)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured way of working
  • Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation and standard operating procedures

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in working with LIMS
  • Higher education within microbiology or similar field
  • Strong proficiency in operating and maintaining advanced laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
