Solution Architect + Azure Expert + IoT:

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Azure Solution Architect with strong expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure in the IoT domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in architecting cloud-native applications, edge-to-cloud integrations, data pipelines, and real-time analytics platforms for industrial or enterprise IoT use cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Azure-based solutions across IoT, data, and application modernization projects.
  • Define and document end-to-end solution architectures using Azure services like Fabric, IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Digital Twins etc.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Design robust, secure, and scalable IoT infrastructures integrating edge devices, gateways, and cloud services.
  • Guide teams on best practices around Azure governance, security, scalability, and cost optimization.
  • Lead client workshops, technical assessments, and solution presentations for both pre-sales and implementation phases.
  • Provide thought leadership in cloud-native architectures, edge computing, real-time analytics, and digital twin implementations.
  • Own technical leadership for CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (IaC), and automation frameworks (e.g., using Terraform, Bicep, GitHub Actions, GitHub).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of IT exp. with 3+ years in a solution architect or lead role focused on Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including:
    • Azure IoT Hub and IoT Edge
    • Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, App Services, Logic Apps
    • Azure Data Lake, Databricks, Azure Fabric
    • Good to have knowledge of Graph DB (Neo4J) and Azure Digital Twins
  • Experience with cloud security, identity and access management, and data encryption.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, containers (AKS), and DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-305 or AZ-220 – IoT Developer).
  • Knowledge of AI/ML integration for IoT analytics and predictive maintenance.
  • Good to have familiarity with OT systems and protocols like Modbus, OPC UA, BACnet, etc.
