Manages day-to-day systems operations, including personnel, financials and services within area of responsibility. Drives company initiatives or programs. Provides information technology planning to meet the company's objectives. Ensures systems are in place to support local or global operations. Meets or exceeds customer requirements with respect to time, cost efficiency & business value. Leads, influences and negotiates to achieve business strategies & deliver results for internal/external partner(s). Follows quality processes and procedures; executes and evaluates department policy. Analyzes business processes for reengineering opportunities. Anticipates and resolves issues/barriers that impede progress. Manages project resources (such as people, equipment) and makes decisions on hiring, terminations and promotions for a highly specialized technical group. Contributes to Human Resources related processes such as succession planning, talent management, compensation planning, performance management. Plans, develops, acquires and implements the systems applications functions. Guides all operations towards common definitions and standards.
