あなたがすること

The R&D Associate Scientist is responsible for planning, designing, and developing new products for engineered products particularly class 1 medical device and formulating OTC products. You will be designing experiments to solve problems, analyzing the results and recommending solutions that will bring innovation into the market. You will also develop protocols, test methods, operating procedures, and translational models that will verify new product’s functional performance and validate new products’ consumer acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop engineered products/medical device prototypes or formulate OTC products according to defined consumer user requirements

· Plan & implement experiments to evaluate new technologies, materials and products (device and formulated products)

· Conduct experiments to solve technical problems

· Analyze and interpret data sets to draw meaningful conclusions

· Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of medical devices

· Define product specifications based on user requirements and design inputs

· Lead life cycle management programs for medical devices/OTC products and apply design control principles in product/material/process changes.

· Develop test methods, technical and translational models that can verify the functional and performance requirements of prototypes

· Lead end-to-end product development activities for innovation projects

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

· University/Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in a related field of Engineering or Chemistry

· 1 year of related experience in scientific research and product development

· Proficiency in cGMPs

· Working knowledge in statistical analysis with familiarity in statistical software (e.g., Minitab, etc.)

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills

· Strong written and oral communication skills

· Strong analytical skills

· Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision

Desired Qualifications

· Experience in the development of sterile medical device & OTC formulations

· Ability to stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field

· Experience in a product development setting for sterile medical devices class 1 and class 2, particularly requirements for sterility

· Ability to influence others
