This position reports into Head of Sales Mass Market and is based at Bucharest.

What you will do

The Senior Customer Development Manager is responsible for supervising the development and servicing of national/key accounts to achieve business sales objectives:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic customer development plans to drive business growth and achieve sales targets
  • Lead a team of customer development professionals to ensure effective execution of plans and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for product innovation and market expansion
  • Utilize data analytics to evaluate performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Lead and oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of sales representatives
  • Develop and implement promotions, incentives, and motivational strategies for the sales team
  • Set and monitor team and individual sales targets, providing effective coaching and support
  • Allocate resources effectively and adjust as necessary to optimize sales activities
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures in sales operations
  • Utilize market data to drive sales strategies and increase product presence with accounts
  • Generate and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to identify opportunities for growth
  • Manage budgets for specific districts or regions to control expenses and maximize revenue
  • Provide exceptional support to sales representatives and customers, addressing any issues or inquiries
  • Lead and execute sales events or projects to enhance overall sales performance
  • Collaborate closely with sales manager to implement sales plans and drive necessary changes for goal achievement

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in customer development or related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of related experience in a supervisory role
  • University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a team and driving business growth
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic business plans effectively

Desired Qualifications

  • Quick learner with high adaptability to changing environments
  • Comfortable engaging with individuals at various job levels
  • Proficient in oral and written communication for business correspondence and presentations
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with a strong sense of accountability
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for fieldwork
