This position reports into Country Manager and is based at Bucharest.

What you will do

The Senior Key Account Manager Pharma is responsible for supervising the development and servicing of national/key accounts to achieve business sales objectives:

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of sales initiatives to drive revenue growth
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior account managers to ensure team success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions to clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve business sales objectives
  • Leading and motivating a diverse sales team to meet or exceed established sales goals
  • Providing expert guidance and support to sales representatives on product knowledge and customer interactions
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing ongoing coaching to enhance sales team performance
  • Creating and managing sales promotions and incentives to drive motivation and sales growth
  • Analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for increased productivity and sales
  • Preparing and controlling budgets for the assigned territory or region
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures in sales activities
  • Collaborating with sales manager to implement sales plans and strategies for achieving objectives

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or key account management
  • University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a related field
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with clients
  • Ability to think strategically and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of proven track record in delivering business results
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and systems for effective sales management
  • Experience in successful new product launches and driving product adoption
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify growth opportunities
  • Effective coaching and performance management skills to develop sales team

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of digital frameworks for reporting and business review formats
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for effective interaction with team and clients
  • Working knowledge of products and procedures to guide sales team effectively
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet applications for sales reporting and analysis
  • Ability to quickly understand market dynamics and customer behavior in the region
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive as needed for sales activities
