Our Global Digital Health & Connected Experience Platform offers a unified solution for all of our Digital Health Mobile Applications and Mobile Applications with physical Connected Devices. It is our Global solution for Mobile Health Software comprising of composable frontend and backend components and services. By eliminating silos, it consolidates tools and services under a one comprehensive framework, ensuring seamless maintainability and service continuity. Built on a component-based software architecture, the platform supports modular and reusable elements for both mobile and hybrid solutions. A robust backend infrastructure guarantees high performance, driving consistency across applications. This unified approach enhances collaboration, efficiency, and innovation throughout the organisation, delivering a cohesive and scalable solution for all products.
What you will do
As a Test Lead, you will spearhead the testing initiatives for our Connected Experience Platform, driving a culture of quality through automation and continuous integration. You will develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for mobile iOS/Android applications, React Native apps, and backend APIs. Your role will involve leading a team of testers in executing unit, integration, and end-to-end (EE) testing to ensure high-quality deliverables. You will also focus on leveraging automation tools and frameworks like Roboto to optimize test processes, enhance test coverage, and reduce manual testing efforts. Collaborating closely with development teams, you will ensure that testing is integrated into the development lifecycle, enabling quick feedback loops and promoting agile methodologies. Your leadership will foster an environment of continuous improvement, ensuring that our testing practices evolve with the technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and standardize processes and tooling within the testing team, focusing on automation and continuous integration practices.
- Oversee the execution of functional, regression, performance, and security testing to identify and resolve defects.
- Design and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end (E2E) tests to ensure robust application performance and quality.
- Utilize automation frameworks (e.g., Roboto, Selenium) to enhance test efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to define test requirements and deliverables.
- Monitor test execution and report progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge sharing.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCi) and practices.
- Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Espresso) and web testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress).
- Working experience in the fields of Software as a Medical Device.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation and continuous integration.
- Proven experience in developing testing strategies for mobile iOS/Android applications and backend APls.
- Strong knowledge of unit, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Roboto).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
