UX Designer
This position reports to Manager, Digital Solutions and is based in Bangalore, India.
What You Will Do:
We are looking for a UX designer who is passionate about creating user-friendly and engaging digital experiences. You will work closely with our Employee Experience lead, Senior Designers, Product Managers, Developers, and Operations team to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their expectations. You will be involved in all stages of the design process, from research and ideation to prototyping and testing. You will use creativity and innovation to develop solutions to complex problems and play a key role in supporting the Kenvue Operations Digital Transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research and analysis to understand the problems and goals of the target audience.
- Create user personas, user journeys, user flows, and wireframes to communicate the design concepts.
- Develop interactive prototypes using tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Conduct usability testing and user feedback sessions to validate and iterate the design solutions.
- Collaborate with the design team and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment with the brand guidelines and best practices.
- Document and present design deliverables and rationale to the stakeholders and internal teams.
- Champion the design process to internal and external stakeholders
- Estimate and plan the work and time needed for deliverables accurately.
- Work with deadlines, in a changing environment and across different time-zones.
- Conduct iterative reviews, collect feedback, and co-create with internal and external stakeholders.
- Execute robust UI testing and manage the meticulous reporting and tracking of bugs/changes.
- Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth handovers.
- Work as part of a Scrum team within an agile delivery framework.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of bachelor's degree is required, with specialization in UX design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
- 2 – 4 years of business experience, with at least 2 years of experience in UX design.
- Experience with visual design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate design decisions and rationale.
- Curious mindset, problem-solving skills, and fast learning abilities to adapt to different contexts and challenges.
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and responsible attitude to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
- Portfolio of UX design projects that demonstrate your skills and process.
- Strong understanding of design basics (form, color, balance, harmony, etc.).
- Strong practical knowledge of the design steps and outputs at each stage - system-maps, mind-maps, personas, journey-maps, wireframes, style guides, VD assets, Spec docs etc.
- Experience with using Design Thinking tools(figma, Miro, Mural, Microsoft Whiteboard)
- Knowledge of latest UX/UI design trends, frameworks, libraries and guidelines across web, iOS, Android, windows, Power BI, Tableau and other BI tools.
- A balanced interest in technology and aesthetics.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in information design and information structure (taxonomies, ontologies, facets etc.).
- An attentive observer and listener; quickly grasps the smallest details of stakeholder’s business challenge; embraces complexity.
- Ability to describe end user with clear and precise details.
- Strong creative thinker; Imagine new and intuitive solutions for difficult UX problems.
- Aware of the differences and challenges of cross device and cross platform design and delivery - Grids, pixel densities etc.
- Solid understanding of usability and other design best practices.
- Solid understanding of primary and secondary User research, User validation and User testing.
- Ability to design within specific UI framework constraints such as SAP UI, SFDC UI etc.
- Ability to prioritize accurately and create simple and intuitive user flows and interfaces.
- Experience in Supply Chain Domain or with any CPG company, good to have.
