Sr. Power BI Developer

Role reports to: Manager, Digital Solutions
Location: Bengaluru, India
What you will do
As Sr. Power BI Developer, you will play a key role in the deployment of digital solutions that solve unmet needs and generate value for Kenvue Operations. You will work closely with UX Designers, Digital Product Teams, and other cross-functional partners to deliver impactful data visualization and insights.
Candidates for this role should have extensive hands-on experience in Power BI, Power BI Server, and a deep understanding of the Microsoft Azure stack. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, expertise in DAX queries, data modeling, and a proven track record of leading and delivering insightful data visualizations and business intelligence solutions.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the development and implementation of advanced Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights.
· Utilize storytelling skills with data visualization to translate complex data into compelling business insights that resonate with stakeholders.
· Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices in Power BI development.
· Work closely with stakeholders to understand their analysis and decision-making requirements and deliver comprehensive solutions that meet those needs.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Power BI with other digital solutions and drive innovation.
· Utilize Microsoft Azure stack technologies to ensure seamless integration and data consistency across various platforms.
· Design and construct complex data models to improve data analytics and reporting capabilities.
· Write advanced DAX queries to extract and manipulate data for complex reporting requirements.
· Manage and optimize Power BI Server for enhanced performance and scalability.
· Maintain and support existing Power BI solutions, making strategic improvements as business needs evolve.
· Demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, effectively communicating and managing expectations across various levels of the organization.
· Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and technologies; proactively identify and purse opportunities for innovation and improvement.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field
· 4-6 years of work experience with at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Power BI Server, Power Platform, Power Apps, and/or Co-pilot
· Strong experience with Microsoft Azure stack, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL Database
· Familiarity with Microsoft Gen AI capabilities, such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the ability to leverage these tools to enhance productivity and decision-making
· Advanced proficiency in DAX queries and data modeling
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders
· Proficiency in SQL querying and the ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting
Desired Qualifications
· Master's degree is preferred, with a specialization in Supply Chain or related areas.
· Experience working in the CPG industry, with a strong understanding of Supply Chain is preferred
· Experience implementing Microsoft Co-Pilot on digital products is preferred
· Microsoft Certifications in Business Intelligence or Data Analysis are a plus
· Power Platform Server and Power Automate experience is a plus
