HybridWhat you will do
We are seeking a driven, go-getter Key Account Manager (KAM) to lead a defined portfolio of categories within Sigma Healthcare (Chemist Warehouse, Amcal and Discount Drug Store), one of Kenvue’s most strategically significant retail partners. You will be rresponsible for supporting the day to day running of Sigma Healthcare Retail accounts, including helping shape customer strategy, ensuring flawless execution of JBPs & leading the promotional management cycle – costing, negotiation, execution and post promotional analysis of activities. This role requires learning agility, strong analytical & problem-solving skills underpinned by a growth mindset.
Reporting directly to the Business Manager – Sigma Healthcare (Chemist Warehouse, Amcal and Discount Drug Store)
The Key Account Manager is responsible for:
- Supporting the day to day running of the Sigma Retail portfolio (Amcal, DDS & select categories in Chemist Warehouse), leading the promotional management cycle – costing, negotiation, execution and post promotional analysis of activities.
- The day-to-day business planning, maintenance and execution of business plans as well as the delivery of goals within budgets.
- Working cross functionally with colleagues across Category, Field, Supply Chain, Marketing and finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop promotional programs that operate within marketing objectives, drive ROI and are within the assigned Budget.
- Negotiate, align and execute the promotional activities to ensure the smooth delivery of brilliant execution.
- Maintain relationship with the accounts to ensure the accurate and timely execution of the customer business plan.
- Drive business planning cycle for your portfolio – From annual category information days to annual / bi-annual category reviews.
- Analysis of promotional activity versus stated KPI’s as part of the continual improvement focus. Deliver these recommendations to state groups as part of the monthly collaboration meeting.
- Forecasting, accruing and actualizing promotional investment.
- Track NTS, Market share and supply chain metrics for your portfolio and customers.
What we are looking for

In addition to this we are seeking:
- Degree in Business/Accounting or a related discipline
- Ideally experience in a Field, Key Account, Category, Marketing role
- Creative problem solver with the ability to draw insights from multiple data sets
- Strong financial acumen with excellent analytical & problem-solving ability
- Be insight-driven to uncover unmet needs (demonstrate a keen eye toward customer and shopper trends and potential unmet needs)
- Strong presentation, negotiation and selling skills
- Resilient, adaptable, and solution-oriented — thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Highly proficient in Excel, forecasting systems, and commercial reporting
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
