This position reports into Senior Customer Leader and is based at Neuss.

What you will do

As a Key Account Manager, you will leverage your expertise to enhance our sales strategy. You will play a pivotal role in managing the key account, optimizing our assortment and pricing, as well as shaping promotional initiatives for our strong brands.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieving revenue and profit targets
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to provide strategic insights and recommendations regarding customer potential
  • Managing day-to-day operations and actively maintaining relationships with your key account
  • Preparing and conducting annual negotiations, as well as contributing to the planning of the customer budget for national key accounts
  • Developing innovative activation concepts (POS, new media, online, etc.)
  • Collaborating seamlessly with relevant stakeholders in marketing, customer activation, supply chain, and controlling to ensure comprehensive customer support and establish new standards in our dynamic market environment.
     

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in key account management, preferably in the FMCG industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and problem-solve to drive business growth
  • Initiative-driven with high ownership and a bias for action and achieving results
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a proven track record of impactful communication
  • Independent, self-driven, enthusiastic, and a strong team player
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in German and English
