What you will do

The Key Account Specialist is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers, acting as the primary contact for midsized eCommerce Pure Play customers, and leading sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations. You will develop accurate sales forecasts, formulate strategic sales plans, and analyze customer business opportunities to drive growth.

The role is based in Warsaw and follows a hybrid working model (minimum 2 days per week in the office).  

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key accounts and decision makers by delivering tailored solutions that anticipate client needs and drive mutual growth.
  • Prepare formal proposals and lead negotiations, following with preparing the contracts, routing for approval and managing the execution at customer.
  • Establish sales and promo plans, ensuring omnichannel synergy incl. e-commerce and digital support.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and conduct thorough economic and competitive analyses to craft innovative account strategies that enhance customer satisfaction, maximize revenue streams, and improve competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and execute activation plans tailored to dedicated customers.
  • Lead proactive problem-solving initiatives, high-impact presentations, and negotiations with senior customer executives to address client challenges swiftly, secure sales agreements, and ensure sustained loyalty and competitive advantage.
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and tailored sales plans aligned with organizational objectives for key accounts.
  • Deliver, monitor and plan financial, investment and sales KPIs.
  • Manage and drive the customer’s P&L, focusing on profitability and top-line results.
  • Serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor for midsized commercial and industrial customers, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Identify and analyze customer business opportunities and threats, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations to management.
  • Handle operational and administrative tasks to ensure smooth business operations.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in key account management, sales roles, or managing key accounts.
  • Strong foundational skills in client management and commercial principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also driving individual accountability.
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B1 level). 
  • Good command of MS Office tools; experience with CRM systems is an asset.

  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and deliver consistent results under pressure.
  • Experience in managing eCommerce Pure Play customers (such as marketplaces, e-drugstores, and/or e-grocery).
  • Knowledge of eCommerce KPIs and retail media strategies.
