What you will do

The KEY ACCOUNT SPECIALIST is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key national accounts, developing and executing strategic sales plans, and delivering tailored presentations and proposals to achieve sales objectives. You will analyze market opportunities, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective account management. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key accounts by delivering tailored solutions that drive mutual growth and long-term loyalty. 

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting large national and key accounts to meet and exceed sales objectives. 

  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication, service delivery, and alignment of objectives. 

  • Conduct tailored sales presentations and product demonstrations to influence key customer executives and decision makers. 

  • Prepare comprehensive sales proposals, contracts, and lead negotiation efforts to secure favorable terms and close deals. 

  • Leverage data-driven insights to anticipate client needs, proactively propose innovative product or service enhancements, and provide actionable insights to enhance sales effectiveness and customer engagement. 

  • Generate detailed and accurate sales forecasts, reports, and market analysis to inform business strategy and decision making. 

  • Identify and capitalize on business opportunities and mitigate risks by analyzing customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. 

  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, merchandising, sales, and other teams to resolve complex client challenges swiftly and achieve overall sales targets. 

  • Ensure consistent follow-up with customers post-sale to guarantee satisfaction, foster repeat business, and enhance overall retention. 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 

  • 3-6 years of proven experience managing key accounts or related sales roles. 

  • Fundamental interpersonal and negotiation skills. 

  • Basic analytical skills relevant to sales and account management. 

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Intermediate/Advanced English

  • Strong analytical mindset with expertise in project management, sales forecasting, and competitive analysis. 

  • Live in Mexico City or Guadalajara.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders. 

  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office suite, and sales database applications to support data-driven decision making and reporting. 

  • Innovative problem-solving skills with practical experience managing complex customer relationships. 

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven professional capable of working independently and collaboratively within a matrix organization. 

  • Demonstrated enthusiasm and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented sales environment. 

  • Strong team orientation with the ability to contribute positively to collective goals and initiatives. 

  • Ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
