Role reports to: APAC Head of Commercial Analytics Location: Bengaluru GCC, India What you will do The Lead Analyst, APAC Commercial Analytics, supports the development and delivery of Performance Reporting, Data Operations and Commercial Analytics to enable business intelligence and revenue growth. The role focused on delivering Performance Reports, executing analytical initiatives building business intelligence and insights to support commercial growth opportunities across the region. Working closely with senior analytics leaders and cross-functional partners, the role contributes to improving decision-making through clear, data-driven insights and continuous improvement of analytical capabilities. You will support data operations, analyze data, interpret results and present actional recommendations to senior stakeholders while managing external research partners, and continuously improve data quality, analytical tools, and reporting processes to enhance business insights consistency and usability.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage advanced analytics, to support the development of actionable insights that drive strategic decisions on market positioning, pricing and promotion strategies, and distribution across the APAC commercial landscape.

• Support the design and delivery of Price, Promotion and Distribution Analytics to strengthen Revenue Growth Management and commercial performance.

• Generate and present clear commercial and business performance insights to support regional and market-level decision making through monthly performance reporting and tracking.

• Support data operations across the region to enable on-time delivery of key performance metrics, including management of data ingestion into global and regional dashboards

• Develop and automate dynamic dashboards tailored to diverse stakeholder needs, enabling real-time performance tracking, agile decision-making, and effective communication of market analysis and evolving business environments to senior management.

• Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Finance) to identify revenue, margin, and efficiency opportunities through analytics.

• Translate complex data and research findings into compelling narratives and clear, strategic recommendations that influence business growth initiatives and marketing management decisions.

• Manage relationships with external market research vendors to continuously elevate commercial analytics capabilities and ensure alignment with company goals and research quality standards.

• Contribute to the execution of the commercial analytics roadmap, ensuring deliverables align with business priorities.


What we are looking for
Required Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field or quantitative discipline.

• 6-8 years of experience in commercial analytics or market research with demonstrated expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies.

• Proficiency in analytical techniques and experience with primary and secondary research data.

• Strong presentation and communication skills to effectively convey complex insights to diverse audiences.

• Ability to manage vendor relationships and resolve conflicts balancing multiple stakeholder interests.

Desired Qualifications

• Proven expertise in advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.

• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex datasets into strategic insights that drive commercial success and operational efficiency.

• Strong communication skills with a flair for storytelling through data, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and applying innovative analytical methodologies to solve evolving business challenges.

• Proven capability to translate research findings into strategic business recommendations.
