What you will do

Position Summary

As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSS BB) at Kenvue, you will serve as a pivotal change agent within our organization, focusing on non-manufacturing areas such as Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Accounting, and Procurement. You will lead high-impact, cross-functional projects that drive operational excellence and revenue growth. Leveraging your expertise in the DMAIC methodology, you will guide teams in the application of advanced analytical tools, value stream mapping, and simulation analysis to achieve strategic objectives. Your role will involve not only executing projects but also mentoring Green Belts and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

· Project Leadership: Lead and manage Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, DFSS, etc.), from opportunity assessment to implementation and control. Ensure projects align with business goals and deliver measurable results.

· Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within designated areas, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and operational efficiencies.

· Value Stream Mapping Support: Facilitate and support Value Stream Mapping (VSM) exercises to identify current state processes and develop future state recommendations that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

· Data Analysis: Utilize statistical analysis, voice of the customer (VOC) insights, value stream mapping, and problem-solving methodologies to identify and implement breakthrough strategies.

· Reporting: Regularly report on project progress, outcomes, and financial impacts, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

· Change Leadership: Act as a change agent, challenging conventional wisdom and stimulating new ways of thinking within the organization.

· Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support organizational goals.

Qualifications

Education:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.

· Must be a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Experience:

· Practical fulltime experience as a Black Belt.

· Value Stream Mapping experience strongly desired.

· Proven track record of successfully leading and completing at least three Six Sigma projects (DMAIC, DFSS, or equivalent) with annual certified savings exceeding $500,000.

Skills & Competencies:

· Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

· Analytical & Statistical Proficiency: Strong diagnostic and analytical capabilities leveraging LSS statistics tools.

· Project Management: Solid understanding of project management fundamentals, with demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion.

· Change Leadership: Proven experience as a change agent, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate teams.

· Process Mapping: Proficiency in mapping processes on the spot with SMEs or/and data with process mapping tool/software. Value Stream Mapping is a major plus.

· Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in teams, understanding team dynamics and fostering a collaborative environment.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in software mapping and statists (i.e. Microsoft Visio and Minitab), with a strong aptitude for learning new tools.

· Nice to Have: Experience with iGrafx for process mapping and analysis.
