What you will do

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for providing leadership and guidance on demand and supply planning processes, developing appropriate planning processes and systems, partnering cross functionally to develop solutions, and managing Regional Demand Planning staff and information systems. You will also build effective relationships with key suppliers and internal/external client groups, ensure understanding and communication on business consequences arising from planning activities, and provide leadership vision to attain process efficiencies. For the Iberia scope the SC Manager will be also responsible to supervise all the copacking activities.

Main responsabilities

  • Develop and implement innovative supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and materials.

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of operations.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality and reduce lead times.

  • Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess.

  • Implement and maintain supply chain metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with business objectives and drive cost-effective stock availability.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the demand and supply planning processes.

  • Partner cross-functionally to develop solutions to complex problems.

  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations.

  • Manage and mentor Regional Demand Planning staff.

  • Build effective relationships and partnerships with key suppliers and internal/external client groups.

  • Organize and present information to ensure timely forecasting communications and common goals and objectives across franchises and functional areas.

  • Continually reduce forecast error while increasing customer service levels.

  • Take an active role in the sales and operation planning process (demand planning+ trade customization)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of distribution and logistics

  • Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software like Oracle and Sage

  • Insight into economic conditions and market dynamics

  • Interest in innovative technologies, such as automation software

  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers and distributors:

Academic

  • Must have Degree in Business/Economics/Engineer or equivalent

  • IT ERP Experience valued, Excel, Power Point, valued

  • Understanding of business issues and strategy experience

  • English high level in written and spoken

Experience

  • More than 5 years of experience in Pharma Industry

  • More then 2 years of experience in FMCG Industry

  • Leadership and Manager experience are valued
