What you will do

The Manager Customer Logistics is responsible for direct supervision and leadership for a team of Analysts with responsibility for Order Management activities with our customers as well as the development and implementation of Account Specific Joint Business Plans with their Customers. The qualified candidate will collaborate with internal Supply Chain operations partners to improve logistics and ordering efficiencies and drive on time in full delivery and RIS improvements.  

The Manager will have end-to-end accountability through either direct or indirect ownership across multiple franchises. They will support all sales efforts to drive collaborative topline and forecast attainment. They will achieve customer penetration and relationship building across various levels of management and in the functional areas of replenishment, merchandising, logistics, accounts payable, EDI, and sales to develop customer specific improvement strategies and tactics.  

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-end logistics activities across the customer base, including functional responsibilities such as CPFR, Order Management and Customer Logistics with indirect matrix responsibility to the revenue center of excellence. 

  • Study & measure Deliver processes & performance; drive alignment to enhance & harmonize at both the tactical & strategic levels. Develop strategic plans to drive ongoing improvements in service, supply, delivery, and efficiency, as well as creative & innovative uses of process and technology. 

  • Key Performance Indicators for this role include improved service (Retail In Stock and OTIF-D), efficient ordering (Order Blocks/Touches), inventory optimization (DOS), and improved logistics efficiencies (Cost to Deliver). Secondary indicators will be Deliver Enabled Value and overall customer P&L influence.  

  • Be a driven leader with strong communications and analytical skills, with the ability to breakdown data for delivery to various audiences and possess the ability to influence and constructively challenge cross-functional project teams and business partners.  

  • Develop, implement and manage internal and external partnerships. Required to work within a matrix structure to influence their indirect responsibilities across distribution, transportation, planning, trade customization and sales.   

  • Owns the customer relationship and penetration strategy. Will drive collaborative efforts to optimize efficiencies as well as to ensure our end customer is enabled to purchase our product every day, nurturing strong and productive relationships at various levels at retail customers.  

 

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS Degree. 

  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant work experience in customer service, forecasting, inventory management, supply chain management, logistics or materials management is required.

  • Experience working on cross-functional & remote teams. 

  • End to End Supply Chain experience and/or Commercial Customer Experience. 

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. 

  • The ability to travel up to 15%. 

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced degree or focused degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related fields. 

  • Experience with Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Supply Chain, particularly in a leadership capacity. 

  • Experience in SAP.

  • Experience with Six Sigma/Process Tools, Training or Certification.

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$124,100.00 - $175,200.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
