HybridWhat you will do
The Self Care Procurement Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the procurement department, overseeing supplier selection and contract negotiations, and ensuring adherence to purchasing policies and budget controls. You will lead supplier relationship management, review pricing and analyze against benchmarks to drive negotiations, drive procurement strategies for respective portfolio and lead projects with internal and external stakeholders to drive value for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Spearhead strategic sourcing initiatives for self-care products by leveraging market insights, emerging trends, and supplier performance analysis to optimize procurement efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantage.
Develop and implement sustainable procurement and purchasing policies that align with corporate social responsibility goals, enhance brand reputation, and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards. Include resilience and agility in supply chain, align with global network strategies and manage governance of key initiatives.
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, supply chain, and new product development teams to forecast demand, tailor procurement strategies, integrate supply chain insights, and support product innovation and customer satisfaction.
Lead negotiations and finalize contracts with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality improvements, exclusive partnerships, favorable terms, and risk mitigation.
Utilize advanced data analytics, procurement technologies, and planning tools (such as RCCP, MPS, and MRP) to identify cost-saving opportunities, streamline procurement and supply planning processes, and optimize production and inventory levels.
Oversee and optimize the end-to-end procurement and supply chain processes, including inventory management across all stages (Finished Goods, Work in Progress, Raw & Packing Materials), order management, and supply planning activities to ensure operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals.
Foster strong vendor relationships to guarantee consistent quality, service levels, and timely delivery, while driving initiatives to reduce minimum order quantities and lead times to enhance supply chain responsiveness.
Evaluate plant capacity constraints and develop constrained production and supply plans to reliably meet demand, ensuring high levels of customer service and product availability.
Serve as the primary liaison between Sales & Marketing, Demand Planning, and Manufacturing plants to synchronize supply chain activities, identify, escalate, and lead resolution of supply chain issues at regional forums.
Supervise master data management related to supply planning to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Mentor and develop procurement team members to foster continuous improvement and innovative problem-solving within the self-care category.

Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields.
Demonstrated expertise in strategic procurement, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
Strong analytical skills with the capability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Exceptional project management skills with a track record of managing multiple initiatives concurrently in a matrix environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
Being comfortable driving consensus, strong negotiation skills and driven mindset
Proficiency in ERP systems, being able to navigate core modules for Procurement, Finance, and Inventory to manage accurate financial commitments.
Desired Qualifications
Proven expertise in leveraging data analytics and digital tools to enhance procurement decision-making and supplier management.
Experience utilizing syndicated data and advanced planning tools to support decision-making processes.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, sales databases, and relevant web-based applications to support procurement operations.
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and capital efficiency optimization.
Results-driven mindset with the ability to independently develop and implement innovative solutions.
Strong negotiation skills combined with the ability to manage conflicts and achieve consensus.
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff to meet and exceed departmental goals.
