What you will do

The Manager of Shopper Insights is responsible for supporting the Senior Shopper Insights Manager with leading custom research studies and curating data-driven shopper insights that help our sales leadership team make strategic decisions to improve Kenvue’s performance on the Walmart account.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop research briefs, write quantitative and qualitative research questionnaires, analyze survey results, and develop research presentations for the sales and brand development teams
  • Work with internal sales team partners and brand development teams to identify research opportunities that support Kenvue’s and Walmart’s joint business strategies
  • Leverage Scintilla Shopper Behavior to support the team with shopper insights that drive internal business decisions and aid in retailer sell-in
  • Uncover action driving insights with analytics using a diverse toolkit including, but not limited to: POS/retailer data, Walmart Scintilla, syndicated and panel data (e.g., Numerator, Circana)
  • Maintain an outside-in focus by staying up to date with current industry and business trends (micro and macro) and synthesize them into easily digestible content
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for analytics resources and drive best-practice/standardized adoption and usage across the team
  • Work with internal sales team partners on research opportunities – provide voice-of-customer, facilitate research projects, and activate findings to be customer-specific
  • Provide outstanding analytical support to the Kenvue-Walmart business intelligence and sales leadership teams


What we are looking for

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required and minimum of 3-5 years in shopper, consumer or category insights OR relevant business intelligence/analytics experience
  • A proactive individual who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable navigating ambiguity with minimal oversight
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop and manage project plans and to implement, execute and draw conclusions from a variety of customer, category and shopper studies/data
  • Knowledge of computer technology, analytical software programs (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Numerator), MS Office Suite
  • Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, Charts) and assessment of data to draw accurate conclusions


Desired Qualifications:

  • Fluent in interpreting shopper and category insights research and a strong understanding of syndicated data (Circana), panel data (e.g., Numerator), and experience with Walmart’s Scintilla platform
  • Research background developing custom research surveys
  • Ability to confidently produce and speak to accurate insights at various audience levels
  • Ability to quickly understand new data/concepts and integrate them into data-driven storytelling
  • Keen attention to detail where it matters while keeping the “big picture” in mind
  • Familiarity with leveraging industry insights such as Kantar, Mintel, etc. and leveraging AI for productivity enhancement in the workplace

What’s in it for you

Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:

$124,100.00 - $175,200.00

This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate’s skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
