Lo que harás
El Operador de Manufactura – Empaque es responsable del empaque del producto terminado para asegurar la calidad y el cumplimiento. Se asegura de que todos los productos sean empacados según los procedimientos y especificaciones establecidas, cumpliendo con las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (GMP), las normas de seguridad y las políticas de la compañía. Las responsabilidades incluyen la limpieza de equipos, montaje de línea, documentación e inspecciones de proceso.
Este puesto se considera de alta sensibilidad en términos de seguridad, ya que puede impactar la salud y seguridad del empleado, compañeros y público general, o causar daños significativos a la propiedad si se realiza bajo el efecto de drogas o alcohol.
Responsabilidades clave:
Operar máquinas y equipos de empaque cumpliendo con las normas de seguridad, calidad y medio ambiente.
Realizar la limpieza de los equipos y los cambios de producto para evitar la contaminación cruzada.
Hacer ajustes menores en los equipos y notificar al mecánico en caso de fallas mayores.
Suministrar los componentes necesarios a las máquinas para mantenerlas operando continuamente.
Documentar la información del proceso y completar todos los registros oficiales.
Colocar los productos terminados en paletas y registrarlos en el sistema.
Entrenar al personal nuevo en las operaciones del área, si se requiere.
Realizar tareas manuales de empaque, si es necesario.
Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y ordenada conforme a las GMP.
Solicitar y almacenar materiales necesarios para la producción.
Apoyar la solución de problemas y notificar desviaciones o incidentes al supervisor.
Cumplir con todos los SOPs, políticas de seguridad y regulaciones aplicables.
Tomar muestras de estabilidad según el registro del lote.
Cumplir con las iniciativas de EHS (medio ambiente, salud y seguridad), como uso de equipo de protección personal, reporte de incidentes y participación en entrenamientos.
Calificaciones – Lo que estamos buscando
Educación:
Diploma de escuela superior o su equivalente.
Experiencia:
No se requiere experiencia previa. Experiencia en manufactura o industria regulada por GMP es deseable.
Requisitos físicos:
Trabajo que requiere esfuerzo físico medio (levantar, empujar, halar objetos).
Coordinación ojo-mano-pie, destrezas manuales finas y gruesas.
Movimientos como trepar, arrodillarse, agacharse y subir/bajar escaleras.
Agudeza visual y auditiva cercana y lejana, percepción de profundidad y visión de colores.
Conocimientos y habilidades:
Operaciones matemáticas básicas (suma, resta, decimales y porcentajes).
Comunicación básica en inglés y español.
Conocimiento de Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (GMP).
Capacidad para operar montacargas (requiere licencia).
Uso básico de computadoras y capacidad de realizar transacciones simples.
Otros requisitos:
Disponibilidad para trabajar horas extras, turnos nocturnos, fines de semana o turnos irregulares.
Capacidad para responder a llamadas de emergencia y apoyar otros proyectos según sea necesario.

What you will do
The Manufacturing Operator – Packaging is responsible for the packaging of finished goods to assure quality and compliance. The role ensures all goods are packaged in accordance with established procedures and specifications, aligning with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety, and company policies. Responsibilities include equipment cleaning, line setup, documentation, and process inspections.
This position is considered safety-sensitive, as it includes responsibilities that may impact employee or public safety or result in significant property damage if performed under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Key Responsibilities
Operate packaging machines and equipment according to safety, environmental, and quality guidelines.
Perform equipment cleaning and product changeovers to avoid cross-contamination.
Conduct minor equipment adjustments and notify mechanics when necessary.
Feed machines with appropriate packaging components.
Document process data and complete all batch and compliance records accurately.
Place finished goods on pallets and record in the system.
Train or instruct new staff on area operations.
Perform manual packaging if required.
Maintain work area cleanliness to comply with GMP.
Identify, store, and handle materials required for manufacturing.
Support troubleshooting and report any deviations or incidents promptly.
Comply with all SOPs, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
Take stability samples and report any non-compliance to Quality.
Support environmental, health, and safety (EHS) initiatives, including safe behavior and spill response.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in a manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Medium physical work (lifting, pushing, pulling objects).
Requires coordination, manual dexterity, visual and auditory acuity.
Involves kneeling, climbing, stooping, and working at heights or confined spaces.
Skills and Knowledge:
Basic math (addition, subtraction, decimals, percentages).
Basic computer skills; ability to perform simple transactions.
Bilingual communication (English/Spanish).
Knowledge of GMPs.
Forklift operation (license required).
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures.
Other Requirements:
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, nights, or irregular shifts.
Able to respond to emergency calls and support cross-functional teams/projects.
