What you will do

What will you do 

MPS Planner is responsible and accountable for generating/ensuring a realistic MPS plan balancing demand and supply, that state which product to supply, how much, when and where and comply with the physical constraints of the supply chain while adhering to the service and inventory targets.

Generating once month in synchronization with the drumbeat a rough-cut capacity plan (RCCP) to review constraints and raise for decision making trade-off between inventory, costs and service.

Key Responsibilities

RCCP

  • Gather assumptions, parameters, events, targets: Responsible to gather and consolidate inputs of the various stakeholders and translating them into assumptions and planning parameters/constraints. Closely engage with segment E2E planning team to ensure all additional requirements, seasonality input, constraints, and other improvements are captured and translate to RCCP and MPS plan accordingly.

  • Generate RCCP: Responsible and accountable for the monthly generation of capacity plans per work center for the planning horizon

  • RCCP Analysis: Responsible and accountable for assessing if generated RCCP can meet inventory and service, highlights gap. Provide inputs to E2E Segment Supply via Supply Point Review, together with supply points alternatives, trade off and build proposal to mitigate any supply disruptions.

  • Validate through IBP (Supply Review): Responsible to take to supply outcome of RCCP analysis for Leadership approval and decision making in case of trade off and responsible and accountable to integrate back into MPS the outcome of the process

MPS

  • Gather inputs, parameters, targets: Responsible to maintain and update the planning assumptions gathered in the RCCP process and gather and update materials constraints

  • Master data maintenance and set up: Accountable for the integration and maintenance of the supply assumptions into Master Data

  • Generate MPS: Responsible and accountable for executing weekly the demand propagation into site net requirements and balancing them with work centers capacity, material constraints, inventory targets and latest production status.

  • Analyze MPS Results: Responsible and accountable to analyze service/ inventory outlook, scenarios the potential exceptions to be handled. Works with other related functions to develop solutions to potential supply disruptions.

  • Release final MPS plan: Responsible and accountable to share final MPS and its outcome to MRP process, Detailed scheduling process and its integration into S&OE and the resulting inventory level performance (Gross inventory and DoS)

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

  • Min 3 years working experience, preferably in a production environment

  • Proficiency with software application – Excel, SAP and planning/ scheduling tools.

  • Has good understanding of financial flows and associated product flows.

  • Proactive thinker, meticulous, rigorous with a problem-solving mindset.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with management

  • In depth Supply Planning knowledge and its discipline

  • Able to see the big pictures as well as deep dive into the details in both processes, execution and systems

  • Able to communicate and present clearly, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms.

  • Able to make decisions based on data and business acumen.

  • Able to influence at his level within the Supply Chain, Finance & other key cross functional partners, in a matrix environment and externally.

  • Able to develop and coach teams from all cultures and geographies.

  • Customer and business focused – determined to deliver successful outcomes in a cost-effective way.
