This position reports into Sr Manager, Site Materials Planning and is based at Las Piedras, Puerto Rico.

What you will do

You will manage long-term supply and production planning, ensuring customer service goals, capacity utilization, and inventory optimization are met. You will also lead the Master Production Scheduling process and collaborate cross-functionally across the site and affiliates.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage production schedules and long-term supply plans.

• Optimize inventory, capacity utilization, and production efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with GMP, EHS, and internal policies.

• Lead scenario planning, deployment activities, and escalation of capacity/labor/equipment constraints.

• Coordinate S&OP, RCCP, MPS, and MRP activities, including analysis, reporting, and planning.

• Maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

• Ensure appropriate release of inventory for shipment and production planning aligned to customer demand.

• Partner on cross-functional projects and support new product launches.

• Maintain compliance with environmental and safety policies and encourage site-wide engagement.

• Leverage system tools and ERP to drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.

• 5–7+ years of experience in planning, scheduling, or supply chain roles.

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of MRP and detailed scheduling concepts.

• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Ability to work under limited supervision and lead others as needed.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience in a GMP-compliant, regulated manufacturing environment.

• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental/safety standards.

• Experience with master data management.

• Familiarity with S&OP/RCCP best practices.
